Managing Director of State Electric Company (STELCO), Hussain Fahmy, has praised the Presidential Address delivered by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, stating that it covered all sectors of the economy and brought joy and hope to the people.

In a statement shared on his official X account, Fahmy commended the Government’s commitment to turning public aspirations into reality, emphasising that this reflects a leadership that prioritises the people.

According to Fahmy, the President’s assurance that the Government will continue to deliver on its promises, engage closely with the public, listen to their concerns, and work towards fulfilling their needs demonstrates that the Administration is truly a people’s Government.

Expressing gratitude for the President’s leadership, Fahmy acknowledged the ongoing and planned initiatives aimed at enhancing the welfare and well-being of the people.

Hussain Fahmy, who holds a Master’s in Accounting and an MBA in Financial Services from the UK, was appointed as STELCO’s Managing Director on November 28, 2023. Having served the company for 25 years, he has also held the position of General Manager.
