STO General Trading has announced the winner of the MVR 100,000 cash prize from its Ramadan Bazaar 2025 promotion, held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.

The lucky winner was revealed at a small ceremony held last Thursday at the STO People’s Choice Supermart in Malé.

The prize was awarded to one individual selected through a draw among customers who spent MVR 500 or more at STO People’s Choice or STO outlets in the atolls during the promotional period. The Ramadan Bazaar promotion ran from January 9 to March 30, 2025.

Throughout this period, shoppers enjoyed various discounts and had the chance to win prizes at STO stores across Malé and the atolls. In addition to the grand prize, weekly gift hampers were also awarded to randomly selected customers.

STO stated that such promotions are aimed at offering added value to customers while supporting the company’s business objectives. They also serve to strengthen public engagement and contribute to fulfilling the company’s social responsibility.
