The President's Office has announced that the National Awards Committee will begin accepting nominations for the National Award for Public Service on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

The award honours individuals who have served for more than 35 years in Government offices, agencies, or majority state-owned subsidiaries. The eligibility criteria will be detailed in the Government Gazette. Nominations, open to both individuals and organisations, can be submitted through the official application portal until March 18.

Recipients of the award will be honoured by the President with a shield, a badge of honour, and a certificate in recognition of their long-standing service. As in previous years, the President has shared a list of long-serving state employees with the National Awards Committee.

This year’s list includes those who have served for over 42 years, while last year’s selection recognised individuals with more than 43 years of service.
