President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has begun a four-day tour of the inhabited islands of Haa Dhaalu Atoll as part of his ongoing series of nationwide visits to meet local councils and communities.

During the tour, the President will hold meetings with island councils and Women’s Development Committees to discuss priority development needs and pressing concerns of the people. He will also interact directly with residents to assess their well-being and listen to their concern.

President Dr Muizzu is scheduled to visit 13 inhabited islands in Haa Dhaalu Atoll: Hanimaadhoo, Naivaadhoo, Finey, Hirimaradhoo, Nellaidhoo, Nolhivaranfaru, Kurinbi, Nolhivaran, Kulhudhuffushi, Kumundhoo, Vaikaradhoo, Neykurendhoo, and Makunudhoo.

This visit is part of the President’s commitment to tour all atolls of the Maldives, engaging with councils of atolls, islands, and cities to ensure development efforts are aligned with local needs.

The President is accompanied by a delegation that includes several Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials.
