The Ministry of Tourism and Environment held a meeting with the Indian Ocean Diving Association (IODA) to discuss strengthening collaboration on dive site monitoring and protected area management. The Ministry highlighted the important role played by dive centres in safeguarding coral reefs and ensuring safe, high-quality diving experiences, noting that closer cooperation with industry stakeholders is key to sustaining the Maldives’ marine environment.
