Vice President joins PNC door-to-door campaign in Thinadhoo City

Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef took part in a People’s National Congress (PNC) door-to-door campaign in Thinadhoo City as part of activities ahead of the upcoming Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.
During the visit, the Vice President visited several households and spoke with residents and listened to their concerns regarding issues affecting the community while sharing the Government’s development priorities.
The Vice President was accompanied by PNC Members of Parliament representing Thinadhoo City, along with candidates contesting for Thinadhoo City Mayor, council seats and Women’s Development Committee positions on the party’s ticket.
PNC continues to conduct campaign activities nationwide ahead of the elections. So far, the party has secured several uncontested seats, including 28 council seats and 41 Women’s Development Committee seats, bringing the total to 69 seats won without a vote. Local council and Women’s Development Committee elections are scheduled to be held on 4 April.
