The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced that Eid al-Fitr prayers will be held in large congregations across four designated locations in Malé City this year, alongside prayers in mosques across the Greater Malé Region. The main congregation sites include the Maafannu Stadium area, Vilimalé Football Ground, Hulhumalé Phase I synthetic track, and the open area near Masjid Hassan Adam in Hulhumalé Phase II.

In addition, Eid prayers will be conducted in 25 mosques across Malé, Vilimalé and Hulhumalé. The Ministry stated that in the event of adverse weather conditions, prayers will instead be held in all mosques where Friday prayers are usually conducted. Eid prayers are scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m., with the Maldives set to celebrate Eid al-Fitr tomorrow.
