Maldives Customs Service has seized more than 11 kilograms of drugs that were being smuggled into the country via air. The seizure was made on 20 March, with authorities confirming that the confiscated substances included 5,370 grams of cannabis. Customs stated that the seized drugs have an estimated street value of MVR 4.29 million, highlighting ongoing efforts to combat drug smuggling into the Maldives.
