The Maldives’ Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed Hussain Shareef, and the Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Dr Salma Rasheed, have been dismissed from their posts.

The President’s Office Chief Spokesperson, Heena Waleed, confirmed the decision to MMTV on Monday. 

However, further details are yet to be provided regarding their dismissals.
