The Elections Commission has published the voters’ register for the second round of the local council and Women’s Development Committee elections, scheduled for Saturday.
The updated list of eligible voters has been made available in the Government Gazette as well as on the Commission’s official website. Voters may also verify their inclusion by sending an SMS in the format “VR [space] IDNO” to 1414.
A window for submitting complaints regarding the register was open today from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Complaints may still be lodged online via the Elections Commission’s main portal. Any request to amend details in the register must be supported by a copy of an official document confirming the validity of the claim.
Eligibility to vote in Saturday’s polls is limited to individuals who were listed in the final constituency register for the election held on 4 April 2026, as well as those who have since been added upon reaching the age of 18.
The second round of voting follows the initial elections held earlier this month and will determine two local council seats and three Women’s Development Committee positions.
