Managing Director of Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) Hussain Fahmy has expressed his gratitude to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for the opportunity to serve at the President’s Office.

In a post shared on X, Fahmy thanked the President for entrusting him with responsibilities at the State Policy and Manifesto Office, noting that the role had been a significant professional experience. He also acknowledged the confidence placed in him during his tenure.

Fahmy further commended the executives and staff of the President’s Office for their dedication and support, stating that it was a privilege to serve alongside a committed and professional team. He highlighted the collective achievements accomplished during his time in office and expressed appreciation for the collaborative work environment.

The remarks come following Fahmy’s recent appointment by the Privatization and Corporatization Board as a board member and Managing Director of MWSC. He had also previously served as Managing Director of State Electric Company during the current Administration.
