The Primary Healthcare (PHC) Enhancement Programme has officially launched in GDh. Atoll, representing a significant advancement in broadening access to quality healthcare services in the region.

This initiative is designed to improve community health services, increase accessibility to basic healthcare, and enhance overall health outcomes.

GDh. Atoll is the fourth atoll to adopt the programme, following N, A, and B. Atolls. It emphasises expanding island-level healthcare by increasing resources, up-skilling healthcare workers, and strengthening the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

With the programme's introduction, GDh. Atoll residents are expected to benefit from improved healthcare quality and reduced barriers to essential health services.
