Ahmed Nasif has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), a pivotal agency overseeing urban development projects across the Maldives.

Nasif brings extensive experience from leadership roles in various state-owned companies, including his most recent role as Chairman of Regional Airports.

Having previously served in a senior capacity at HDC, Nasif is already well-versed in the corporation’s operations and strategic objectives. His background in managing government entities makes him well-suited to lead HDC through its upcoming initiatives in housing and urban infrastructure. Nasif replaces Ahmed Zuhoor, who was dismissed from the position in May.
