Island Aviation Service (IAS) is inviting the public to participate in an exciting photo and video contest during the airshow on January 6, 2025, showcasing Maldivian's first wide-body aircraft, the Airbus A330.

In a press release, IAS announced that winners will be selected separately for the most popular photo and video captured during the event.

The grand prize winner will receive two nights at a five-star resort. The runner-up will be awarded a return ticket for two to Trivandrum or Cochin, while the third-place winner will receive a return ticket for two to a domestic destination. All winners will also receive an Airbus A330-200 aircraft model.

To participate, contestants must post their photos and videos on Facebook, Instagram, or X with the hashtag #MaldivianAeroAirshow and tag @maldivianaero. Posts must be set to public visibility to qualify for the contest.

The submission deadline for the contest is January 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM.

The airshow is scheduled for January 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM, with designated viewing areas at Usfasgandu in Malé City, and the eastern beaches of Hulhumalé Phase 1 and Phase 2.
