Ministry of Tourism marked the Government's one-year achievements with 'Hafuthaa 52', featuring the launch of a tourism milestones booklet and various eco-friendly activities for children by NGOs.

A family evening titled 'Fathuruveri Aailee Haveeru' was held as part of the celebrations in Hulhumalé Phase 1 on 15 November 2024, running from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Centred around themes of marine conservation and environmental protection, the sustainable tourism-focused event offered attendees a mix of educational and recreational activities. These included drawing sessions and craft workshops utilising recycled materials, alongside water sports such as banana boat rides, fun tube experiences, and jet skiing.

This initiative demonstrates the Ministry's commitment to promoting sustainable tourism while engaging local communities in environmental awareness activities.
