The Ministry of Tourism has extended the application deadline for the Maldives Tourism Awards 2024, giving participants until 13:00 hrs on Thursday, 28 November 2024, to submit their entries.

The announcement was made through the Ministry’s official account on X, encouraging tourism stakeholders to take advantage of the extended timeline.

The Maldives Tourism Awards is a prestigious annual event that honours exceptional contributions across the nation’s thriving tourism sector. Recognising achievements in categories such as resorts, guesthouses, liveaboards, safaris, and travel agencies, the awards celebrate innovation and excellence that drive the industry forward.

For 2024, a total of 23 awards will be presented across five categories, with evaluations focusing on activities conducted between 1 June 2023 and 31 May 2024. Interested businesses must submit their applications online, with entries assessed on criteria such as service quality, innovation, and impact on the tourism landscape.
