The Ambassador of India to the Maldives, Munu Mahawar, met with the Minister of Higher Education, Labour, and Skill Development, Dr Maryam Mariya, to discuss strengthening educational collaboration between the two countries.

During the courtesy meeting, the leaders explored initiatives to expand higher education opportunities for Maldivian students, promote training programmes, and advance human resource development.

The Ministry of Higher Education noted that the meeting marked a significant step in bolstering bilateral ties, particularly in the education sector. In a statement on X, the Ministry emphasised the importance of this engagement in fostering mutual progress.
