The pair of Hawwa and Majidha claimed victory in the women’s division of the Maldives National Beach Volleyball Championship, delivering a stellar performance in the final held at Hulhumalé Youth Park beach volleyball court.

The duo emerged victorious with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Zeeniya and Areesha. Despite dropping the first set 18-21, Hawwa and Majidha mounted a remarkable comeback to secure the next two sets, 21-17 and 15-12, demonstrating their exceptional skill and teamwork.

The championship, organised by the Volleyball Association of Maldives and held from 22-25 November, featured fierce competition among the nation’s top beach volleyball players. Zeeniya and Areesha’s strong start in the opening set was a highlight, but Hawwa and Majidha’s resilience turned the match in their favour.

In the third-place play-off, Anaal and Alya displayed determination to secure the bronze medal, rounding off an intense and memorable tournament.
