The National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) has announced that 63 patients have been deemed eligible for Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment under the Aasandha program in its second round of applications. This selection comes after a thorough evaluation of the 215 couples who initially applied for the IVF treatment, with only those meeting specific criteria approved for eligibility.

NSPA released the list of qualifying candidates yesterday, and those selected for treatment have been instructed to submit their treatment plans to ANSPA by November 30, 2024. The agency has also opened a period for patients to review and contest the eligibility results; any complaints must be submitted by May 10. NSPA has committed to addressing these complaints and will publish a revised list on November 15, reflecting any updates based on the feedback received.

Eligible candidates from this finalised list will then proceed with their fertility treatments under the Aasandha program, a healthcare initiative providing crucial medical support for families seeking to conceive through advanced fertility treatments.
