CROSSROADS Maldives, has launched HotelPay, a new payment gateway aimed at enhancing the travel experience for visitors from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The system enables guests to book stays and make payments in Russian Rubles, either online or on-site, at SO/ Maldives, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, and SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton.

This development addresses challenges caused by international payment restrictions and local card limitations. HotelPay aims to simplify transactions, providing a secure and straightforward cashless solution.

Frederic Lebegue, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, and Alexander Traeger, General Manager of SAii Lagoon Maldives and CROSSROADS Marina, highlighted the move as a step towards improving guest convenience. 

Olivier Moies-Delval, General Manager of SO/ Maldives, added that the system aligns with efforts to enhance guest satisfaction by simplifying processes.

CROSSROADS Maldives hosts three, catering to international visitors. The integration of HotelPay reflects the destination’s focus on inclusivity and accessibility.
