Bangladesh’s new High Commissioner to the Maldives, Dr MD Nazmul Islam, formally presented his credentials to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at the President’s Office. 

During their meeting, President Dr Muizzu and Dr Nazmul Islam spoke on the enduring partnership between the two nations, underlining strong people-to-people ties and decades of cooperation. They also discussed expanding collaboration in areas such as agriculture, education, trade, and economic development. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to building on the diplomatic relationship established in 1978.
