Practical work has commenced on the new Council Secretariat, police post, and health centre extension building in Alifu Dhaalu Omadhoo as part of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s ongoing tour of the atoll.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Council Secretariat was officiated by Minister of Cities, Local Government and Public Works Adam Shareef Umar.

Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusaan officiated the groundbreaking ceremony for the new police post, while Minister of Finance and Planning Moosa Zameer officiated the groundbreaking for the health centre extension building.
