Dar Global and The Trump Organization have announced the Trump International Hotel Maldives, the brand’s first property in the country, along with what the companies say is the world’s first tokenised hotel development linked to a project under construction.

The resort, planned to open by the end of 2028, will be located 25 minutes by speedboat from Malé and feature around 80 beach and overwater villas. The tokenisation model will allow investors to participate financially during the development phase.

Dar Global is the international property arm of Dar Al Arkan, one of Saudi Arabia’s major real estate developers.
