First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has inaugurated the People’s National Congress (PNC) campaign office for the North Galolhu constituency ahead of the upcoming Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.
Several senior figures of the PNC attended the opening ceremony alongside the First Lady, including the party’s parliamentary group leader and campaign manager for the elections, Ibrahim Falah, as well as other members of the party’s leadership.
The event was also attended by the PNC’s candidate for Mayor of Malé City, Major General (Retired) Moosa Ali Jaleel, and Uz Ashiyath Alaika Adhnan, who is contesting for the presidency of the Women’s Development Committee.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel and Funadhoo constituency Member of Parliament Mohamed Mamdooh also addressed the gathering.
In their remarks, both Dr Khaleel and MP Mamdooh highlighted the importance of supporting PNC candidates in the upcoming elections. They called on voters to back the party to help ensure the successful implementation and completion of Government development projects.
