The Ministry of Health has issued precautionary advice following a fire incident in the Housing Ministry building on December 12, 2024.

Through its official X account, the Ministry urged individuals experiencing symptoms such as shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, severe coughing, or dizziness to seek medical attention immediately. The Ministry also highlighted that individuals with respiratory or heart conditions are particularly vulnerable to smoke exposure and should be cautious.

As part of the safety measures, the Ministry advised the public to keep doors and windows closed to prevent smoke from entering their homes. Additionally, Ministry recommended avoiding smoke-affected areas unless absolutely necessary and covering the mouth and nose when venturing outdoors in such areas.
