X-ray and physiotherapy services have been resumed at the Hulhumeedhoo Health Centre in Addu Atoll.

The health centre stated that arrangements have now been completed to provide both services on a permanent basis.

Authorities said a full-time radiographer has now been assigned to the facility, allowing residents to access reliable X-ray services without interruption. The centre added that measures have been put in place to ensure the service remains continuously available.

In addition, the health centre said rehabilitation and recovery services are now being provided under the guidance of an experienced physiotherapist, with uninterrupted physiotherapy treatment available for patients in the area.

The Hulhumeedhoo Health Centre serves residents of Hulhumeedhoo, which is geographically separated from other inhabited islands in Addu Atoll. Doctors from Addu Equatorial Hospital also visit the centre on a weekly basis to provide medical care to patients.
