President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended Eid al-Adha greetings and well wishes to leaders of Muslim countries and heads of Islamic international organisations.

In messages issued for the occasion, President Dr Muizzu conveyed greetings on behalf of the Government and people of the Maldives to the respective leaders, their governments and citizens.

The President highlighted the spiritual significance of Eid al-Adha and expressed hope that the occasion would strengthen unity, compassion and mutual understanding among Muslims around the world.

He also prayed for the prayers and acts of worship of pilgrims performing Hajj to be accepted, and wished them peace and lasting blessings.

President Dr Muizzu concluded the messages by extending his personal wishes for good health, happiness and prosperity to the leaders and their nations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
