Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef has urged on the public to strengthen unity and solidarity while celebrating Eid al-Adha.

In a message shared on his X account last night, the Vice President extended Eid greetings and wishes to all Maldivians on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

He urged the public to reflect on the valuable lessons of Hajj and to use the occasion of Eid al-Adha to become a more united and resilient society.

The Vice President emphasised the importance of renewing the spirit of togetherness and harmony during the festive period. He also encouraged people to greet one another warmly and promote peace and goodwill, describing unity as a powerful source of strength.

In addition to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, First Lady Sajidha Mohamed also shared Eid greetings and messages of goodwill with the public to mark the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha.
