Maldivian businesses have been invited to take part in the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade, to be held in Xiamen, China.

The Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade said the Chinese government has informed the ministry that participation is open for Maldivian businesses.

The annual fair, scheduled from September 8 to 11, is organised by the Ministry of Commerce of China and serves as a platform for investment promotion and policy dialogue. According to organisers, the event will include opportunities for business-to-business (B2B) meetings, investment seminars, and project roadshows aimed at fostering practical investment partnerships.

Interested businesses are required to apply online via the official website and submit their participation details to [email protected]. The ministry said the fair provides an opportunity for Maldivian enterprises to explore investment prospects and strengthen international business linkages.
