First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has praised Mianz College for its remarkable achievements, describing it as an institution that has attained significant success and grown rapidly within a relatively short period.

She made the remarks while addressing a ceremony held at Imaduddin School on Sunday evening to commemorate the college's 20th anniversary.

In her address, the First Lady noted that Mianz College's contribution to laying a strong foundation for quality education at the national level is a source of pride for the entire country. She emphasised that development is ultimately about positive change in people and described education as one of the most important means of achieving such progress.

Highlighting the broader role of education, Madam Sajidha said that learning not only equips individuals with knowledge and skills but also nurtures strong moral values and ethical principles.

She further encouraged students to strive to become exemplary Maldivian citizens who are devoted to their faith, loyal to their country and dedicated to hard work.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Mianz College presented the First Lady with a commemorative gift, which was handed over by the college's Founder and Chairman, Ahmed Muttaqi.

The ceremony also featured the announcement of the Mianz College Student Association Executive Committee and the launch of the college's official song.

The event was attended by senior Government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and the college's management, staff and students.
