Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has published all information required to be proactively disclosed under the Right to Information (RTI) Act on its official website, becoming the first State-owned enterprise (SOE) to do so.

Under Article 37 of the RTI Act, public institutions are required to proactively disclose 13 categories of information. These include the institution's responsibilities, organisational structure and functions, annual budget and planned expenditure, employee remuneration, and the procedures and responsibilities involved in decision-making.

To improve public access, HDC has established a dedicated RTI information directory on its official website containing all information required under the Act.

HDC's publication follows the Government's achievement of full compliance with the RTI Act's proactive disclosure requirements across all ministries, the President's Office and the Attorney General's Office on 7 June 2026. The latest disclosure makes HDC the first SOE to meet the Act's proactive disclosure requirements since the legislation came into force in 2014.
