Chief Superintendent of Police Fathimath Nashwa of the Maldives Police Service (MPS) has completed the Executive Leaders Programme conducted by the College of Policing in the United Kingdom.

The 19-week programme, which began on 26 February, concluded with its final module held in the United Kingdom from 29 June to 10 July.

The Maldives Police Service said the programme is designed to prepare senior police officers for executive leadership roles by strengthening their leadership skills, professional competencies, and strategic decision-making abilities.

A total of 62 senior law enforcement officers from different countries completed this year's programme.

MPS says that the training also enabled participants to examine modern institutional management practices, enhance stakeholder engagement, and develop strategies to strengthen organisational leadership and institutional relationships.
