Members of the public have been invited to register for the Rayyithunge Adu initiative, through which citizens will have the opportunity to meet President Dr Mohamed Muizzu in person and share their views, concerns and suggestions directly.
The President's Office has opened registration for the programme, which aims to broaden opportunities for direct engagement between the President and the public through face-to-face discussions.
The first round of meetings will be open to residents of four parliamentary constituencies: Hulhumalé North, Hulhudhoo, Hoarafushi and Hulhumalé Central. These constituencies have been selected from the country's 93 parliamentary constituencies.
Those wishing to participate can register through a dedicated portal on the President's Office website, where the programme guidelines and participation requirements are also available. Registration will close at 00:00 on Wednesday, 15 July 2026.
President Dr Muizzu announced the launch of Rayyithunge Adu on 25 June, describing it as an initiative to strengthen direct engagement with citizens across the Maldives. Through the programme, the President will meet people from constituencies nationwide to listen to their concerns, ideas and suggestions firsthand, reinforcing closer communication between the Government and the public.
