Winners have been announced for the second edition of MMTV's annual Quran Competition, titled ‘شفاء ورحمة’, the largest Quran competition organised by a private media outlet in the Maldives.

More than 800 participants took part in this year's competition, which was held during the month of Ramadan. The first competition, held during Ramadan 1446 AH, attracted 300 participants, with this year's competition recording a significant increase in participation.

The prize-giving ceremony was held in two sessions. Prizes for the first session were presented by the Vice Chancellor of the Islamic University of Maldives, Dr Ali Zahir, while prizes for the second session were presented by Sheikh Ahmed Sameer on behalf of Jamiyyath Salaf.

Participants as young as two years old and up to 60 years of age took part in the competition. This year's winners are:

Under 4 years:
First place: Enash binth Fathuhulla Ismail, Galolhu Ehtheyomaage, Malé
Second place: Muskaan Mohamed Haleem, Nooralee Villa, Lhaviyani Naifaru
Third place: Aishaal Hassam Ismail, Maarana, Baa Thulhaadhoo

4 to 6 years:
First place: Izva Ahmed Mujthaba, New Hill, Hulhumalé
Second place: Kyle Hassan Fareed, Leelimaage, Gaafu Dhaalu Vaadhoo
Third place: Aina binth Asif, Kinbimaage, Lhaviyani Hinnavaru

6 to 9 years:
First place: Makin bin Muaz, Meynaa, Shaviyani Foakaidhoo
Second place: Yoosuf Mohamed Faiz, Henveiru Hiriyaa 1, Malé
Third place: Malkiya Ean Ashraf, Keyogasdhoshuge, Thaa Vandhoo

9 to 12 years:
First place: Sadhaan Abdussattar, Dhoores, Alif Alif Himandhoo
Second place: Izkaan bin Shahid, Kuriboshi, Lhaviyani Hinnavaru
Third place: Ainee binth Mohamed Fazil, Lucky Last, Raa Rasmaadhoo

12 to 15 years:
First place: Mohamed Nuhaik Ibrahim Shifaau, Fathis, Thinadhoo City
Second place: Malka Mohamed Habeeb, Vaadhee, Feydhoo, Addu City
Third place: Navar Hassan Haneef, Boduge, Haa Alif Vashafaru

15 to 18 years:
First place: Ahmed Thomih Ayyoob, Galolhu Haalam, Malé
Second place: Mohamed Raush bin Siraj, Rolhi, Kulhudhuffushi City
Third place: Aishath Zeek Riyaz, Ocean, Feydhoo, Addu City

The judging panel comprised Ustaz Ibrahim Ramzee, Ustaz Mohamed Thaufeeq Ali, and Ustaz Ibrahim Shifaau.
