An apartment in Hiyaa Tower 8 sustained extensive damage after a fire broke out in its kitchen on Sunday.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene following reports of the fire.

The authority confirmed that the fire has been extinguished. However, the apartment was heavily affected by smoke, and crews are continuing efforts to clear the smoke and ensure the area is safe.
