Police have urged football fans to celebrate tonight World Cup 2026's final responsibly, calling on the public to respect the rights of others and avoid behaviour that could disturb nearby residents.

In a public advisory issued ahead of the match, police reminded supporters that late-night celebrations should not disrupt public peace. Fans were advised to avoid excessive noise, loud singing and unnecessary use of vehicle horns in residential areas and on public roads.

Police also urged those watching the match at public screening venues not to park motorcycles in a way that obstructs traffic or inconveniences other road users. Motorcyclists were further advised against gathering in large groups or riding around after the match, warning that such activities could create disturbances and pose risks to other road users.
