Dhiveheenge Ufehdhuntherikamuge Maurazu 2026 has attracted more than 350 applications for participation, surpassing last year's total of 240, the Business Center Corporation (BCC) said.

BCC said the expo provides a platform for artisans, small and medium-sized enterprises, digital creators and innovators from across the Maldives to showcase their products and services. The corporation described this year's response as a substantial increase compared with last year's exhibition.

Participants will be able to exhibit products and services across 73 categories covering 16 sectors. Applications to take part in the expo will remain open until 31 August.

The opportunity to participate is open to Maldivians aged 13 and above, Maldivian businesses, State-owned companies, educational institutions, councils, and people with disabilities.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has designated this year as the Year of Creativity. BCC said it aims to make this year's expo the country's largest platform for Maldivian creators to showcase and market their products and services.

Dhiveheenge Ufehdhuntherikamuge Maurazu 2026 is scheduled to be held from 23 to 31 October. BCC has encouraged interested participants to register as early as possible through the expo.mv portal.
