Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage Heena Waleed has said preparations are underway to implement President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's national campaign aimed at reviving the culture of respect and good manners among Maldivians, stressing that the success of the campaign depends on public participation.

She said the initiative is intended to involve people from all sectors of society, regardless of political affiliation or ideology, in promoting respect, national values and social responsibility.
Minister Heena also highlighted the importance of preserving Maldivian identity and passing the country's history, traditions and values on to future generations. She said plans are underway to conduct research and document oral histories and stories preserved by elders across the country.
The Minister added that the Government is currently gathering public input and preparing the necessary documents to guide the implementation of the nationwide campaign, in line with President Muizzu's directive to ensure broad public participation.
