Power has been restored to all areas of Hulhumalé Phase 2, except the MPL Tower and Dhiraagu Building, following a power outage that occurred Saturday night.

According to the State Electric Company Limited (STELCO), the outage was caused by the tripping of one of the feeders supplying electricity to Hulhumalé.

STELCO has reported that three transformers in Phase 1 have now been energised, and efforts are underway to restore electricity to the remaining affected areas as quickly as possible.
