President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has outlined extensive development plans for Rasgetheemu during his visit to Raa Atoll (North Maalhosmadulu Atoll) today.

Addressing island residents, he pledged to initiate all campaign-promised projects this year, with several set for completion in 2024. Key developments include a new harbour, enhanced school infrastructure with additional classrooms and a hall, alongside improvements to sports facilities, waste management systems, and healthcare services in the months ahead.

Ministers accompanying the President conducted thorough discussions with the Island Council, Women's Development Committee, and local institutional heads. President Dr Muizzu assured coordinated implementation between the council, ministries, and relevant companies.

The President offered to return to Rasgetheemu in December to mark the completion of these development initiatives.
