A fire broke out at the Fruit Tree Apple store warehouse in Machangolhi, Male’ early this morning.

Fire and Rescue Service personnel successfully extinguished the blaze, which started on the first floor of the warehouse, at approximately 5:30 a.m.

No major injuries have been confirmed in the incident, though eyewitness reports suggest some individuals may have been taken to hospital.

Authorities have not yet released details about the cause of the fire or the extent of damage to the property.
