Maldives Blood Services (MBS) has launched a new hotline as part of efforts to enhance public access to its services. The dedicated number, 7333645, has been introduced to facilitate more efficient communication between the agency and the general public.
MBS stated that the hotline will operate during official working hours. In addition to direct phone calls, the public will also have the option to make enquiries through Viber and WhatsApp, offering increased flexibility in how services can be accessed.
This initiative is expected to significantly improve the user experience for those seeking assistance from MBS, by providing quicker and more convenient ways to clarify information and access support.
The Thalassaemia Centre was relocated to the Orange Hiyaa Building in Hulhumalé. The new facility was officially inaugurated by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on May 25.
The relocation was carried out efficiently, with the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) completing the necessary preparations and physical transfer within a short timeframe. The management of the Thalassaemia Centre has been transferred to the Male' City Group of Hospitals.
