Visit Maldives has selected the band ‘2ofUs’ as the first local ambassadors under its newly launched Local Ambassadorship Program, which aims to engage Maldivian artists and creatives in promoting the country as a culturally rich destination.

As ambassadors, ‘2ofUs’ will help showcase the Maldives as a holiday destination through their upcoming performances in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and France.

The band has also been invited to audition for Britain’s Got Talent 19 this September, further amplifying the Maldives’ presence abroad.

The Local Ambassadorship Program is part of a broader strategy to diversify tourism promotion and strengthen ties with the local creative community. It aims to share authentic Maldivian stories and celebrate the nation’s cultural richness on a global platform.

According to Visit Maldives, more local ambassadors will be appointed as the program expands.
