Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has stated that the process of signing agreements with beneficiaries of the 4,000 housing units developed in Hulhumalé is ongoing without interruption. The company confirmed that it has signed agreements with over 200 individuals so far.

According to FDC, individuals are being contacted progressively, based on the order in which they upload their documents after registering on the company’s ‘Fahi Portal’. As of now, more than 230 agreements have been signed since the process began on 21 July 2025.

The agreements are being finalised following the receipt of an official list from the Ministry of Housing. The Ministry is responsible for verifying the required information before forwarding names to FDC. To date, the Ministry has shared the names of 2,665 individuals with the company.

FDC has been sending SMS links to all those listed by the Ministry, directing them to register on the Fahi Portal. The company stated that efforts are underway to increase the pace of contract signings by expanding the number of daily appointments for individuals who register and upload the necessary documentation.

To expedite the process, the company is shortening the deadline for document uploads, increasing staffing for contract signings, and providing accelerated training for staff. FDC also noted that additional service desks will be added to the signing area to accommodate more beneficiaries.

Once all required documents are successfully uploaded to the Fahi Portal, FDC notifies recipients of the date and time for their contract signing. The signing takes place at the Hulhumalé synthetic track area.

FDC aims to complete the agreement process with all housing beneficiaries before September.
