President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has arrived in Shaviyani Noomara, commencing a four-day trip to the atoll, accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and senior officials from key Government institutions.

During the visit, President Muizzu will meet with Island Councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs) to discuss development priorities, infrastructure needs, and community welfare. He will also hold direct engagements with residents to listen to their concerns and gather feedback on government services and local challenges.

The President’s itinerary includes visits to fourteen islands: Kan'ditheemu, Noomaraa, Goidhoo, Feevah, Bileiyfahi, Foakaidhoo, Milandhoo, Narudhoo, Maroshi, Lhaimagu, Funadhoo, Komandoo, and Maalhendhoo.

This tour is another step in President Dr Muizzu’s pledge to personally visit every atoll in the Maldives to ensure that development planning and decision-making are informed by first-hand understanding of local realities.
