The 21st BML Inter-School Swimming Competition has concluded after six days of spirited competition at the Hulhumalé Mini Sports Complex Swimming Pool.

The annual event brought together 365 students aged 12 to 18 from 18 schools, who competed across multiple categories including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.

At the closing ceremony, winners were awarded medals and trophies recognising their achievements. Ghiyasuddin International School claimed the junior title, while the senior category was won by the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).

The competition was organised in collaboration with the Swimming Association of Maldives, with Bank of Maldives (BML) continuing its long-standing support as the event’s main partner.  BML has partnered with the association since 2016 and recently renewed its sponsorship for another three years, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing youth talent and promoting sports development in the Maldives.
