Public voting opens for Maldives MSME Awards as BCC reveals nominees

The Business Center Corporation (BCC) has announced the nominees for the Maldives MSME Awards, featuring businesses across seven categories.
Organised by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the MSME Awards aim to recognise and encourage the achievements of small and medium enterprises operating across the country.
The nominated categories and businesses are as follows:

Public voting for the awards is open until 12:00 p.m. on 3 November 2025 via SMS. In addition to the seven public voting categories, businesses will also be recognised in 13 categories selected by the judging panel.
BCC stated that the evaluation phase for the nominees is now underway. The awards aim to celebrate the productivity, creativity, and growth of Maldivian entrepreneurs and serve as a platform to help small and medium enterprises expand into new markets.
