The SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) has announced that customers can now make payments for their loan and financing facilities directly through the Bank of Maldives (BML) Mobile App.

With the new integration, SDFC customers can view their facility details and make real-time payments using BML’s BillPay feature, allowing for faster, safer, and more convenient transactions. The update eliminates the need for manual bank transfers and ensures instant payment updates across customer accounts.

SDFC CEO described the integration as a major step towards the digital transformation of SDFC’s services, emphasising that it will simplify financial management for small and medium enterprises nationwide. Customers can access the feature under the Accounts tab of the BML app to check their facility balance and monthly payment amounts.

SDFC has also shared a step-by-step guide on its official social media platforms to help users navigate the new service and complete payments through BillPay.
