Leader of the People’s National Congress Party (PNC), MP Ibrahim Falah, has said that a large number of Maldivians are expected to participate in the “Dhiveheenge Raajje” event to be held at Artificial Beach on 14 November.

Speaking to the media after a special preparatory event at the party’s headquarters, MP Falah said the gathering will serve as an expression of public gratitude to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for his work over the past two years.

He noted that no major gatherings have been organised by PNC since President Dr Muizzu’s assumption of office, despite the Administration having launched numerous development projects and the President personally visiting all inhabited islands to meet with residents.

He added that the PNC leadership is encouraging public participation and has begun distributing invitations nationwide.
