Speaker of Parliament and Chairperson of the People’s National Congress (PNC), Abdul Raheem Abdulla, has said that people from across the Maldives will gather for the party’s mega rally at Artificial Beach in Malé City on 14 November to demonstrate public support for President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.

Speaking to the press outside the party’s headquarters, Speaker Raheem said the event will reflect the people’s recognition of the President’s achievements and service to the nation over the past two years. He added that several important announcements aimed at giving hope to the public will be made during the gathering.

He further highlighted that development projects are currently underway across all inhabited islands, following the President’s recent completion of visits to every island. He noted that last Thursday marked the highest number of project contracts awarded to private companies in a single day.

The Speaker added that the rally will showcase the people’s trust in the current Administration and their belief in the country’s progress under President Dr Muizzu’s leadership, expressing confidence that the Government is steering the Maldives towards a promising and prosperous future.
